PLACEMENT of MIGRANT WORKERS to CHINA IS STILL CONSIDERED AS ILLEGAL
RTV 1 Malaysia

In midst of concerns regarding the oversupply of migrant worker candidates bound to work in current placement nations, Saiful sees a good opportunity for Indonesian government to legally open a new placement destination such as China, as there is a big demand among migrant workers, especially for those who had previously worked in Taiwan and Singapore, and added to the fact that workers will receive high salary, which will appease the current issue of 5,000 Chinese workers planning to work in Indonesia. In an effort to have 10 times the current number of our fully skilled Indonesian migrant workers to work in China, ASPATAKI has sent a letter number 051/DPP/V/2020, on 20th of May, 2020, to Maritime and Investment Minister, General (ret.) Luhut B Panjaitan,  hoping that he will help to open China market for our migrant workers to be able to work there in the near future, said Saiful.
