Respectful Greetings from ASPATAKI to The Minister of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Worker and Its Two Vice Ministers
Jakarta - In the middle of his extraordinary busy schedules, the minister of protection of Indonesian migrant worker, His Excellency Mr. H. Abdul Kadir Karding, S.Pi., M.Si., still willing to receive Mr. H. Saiful Mashud, chairman of ASPATAKI, on the 30th of October at BP2MI Jakarta office, sending respectful regards from ASPATAKI committees and members.
During the meeting, Saiful delivered to the minister 11 (eleven) written suggestions and was personally accepted by minister himself, according to Saiful.
Beside giving the suggestion on revision of some of Indonesian Labor Ministry and National Placement Board rules and regulations, there is one urgency to limit the number of Indonesian labor supplier company (P3MI) when partnering with an employment agency in placement country and vice-versa to prevent the transfer of bargaining power intothe hand of employment agencies in overseas, just like what The Phillipines government has done for the past few decades, mentioned Saiful.
